GW Sports Philanthropy Executive Certificate Program - Member Preferred Pricing

The George Washington University Sports Philanthropy Executive Certificate Program is the first and premiere program of its kind designed for individuals currently working in sports philanthropy and for those transitioning into the field. Students who enroll in the 5 month online program can expect to increase their personal and organization impact in the sport for social good space by gaining knowledge of best practices from seasoned industry faculty.  Participants also expand their network with guest speakers, alumni and current students from various professional teams, leagues, non-profits and companies working for sport-related social causes.

There is a fall and spring registration. Spring 2021 registration is open till February 18.   To apply, submit your application.

Program offered through the GW School of Business.  Course content includes Board Governance, Strategic Planning, Program Design, Measurement & Evaluation, Funding, Partnerships, Legal Issues, Relationship Development, and Communicating Impact.  In addition, students work on a personal capstone project in consultation with a faculty and/or advisory board member and participate in webinars/conference calls throughout the program.
